SNAP Cuts Information Session

  • Flood's Hall 1515 East 52nd Place Chicago, IL, 60615 United States (map)

Beginning January 1, 2020, tens of thousands of Cook County residents are in jeopardy of losing their SNAP benefits.

Donald Trump is threatening your family's food as a political stunt in an election year.

Contrary to the government's phony job statistics, unemployment remains high in Chicagoland. SNAP benefits are a lifeline for our neighbors, friends, and loved ones. We can't let them take this away.

If you have questions, a story to share, or want to get involved in the fight against these cuts, we want to meet you.

Join us for an open meeting to discuss how we can collectively resist Food Stamp cuts:

Sunday, Jan. 12 @ 1pm
Flood's Hall
1515 E 52nd Place,
Ste 300
Chicago IL 60615

Hosted by the recently-launched South Side Workers Center.
